More than 15 years ago, Sam Kennedy took the marketing strategy, storytelling and PR/communications expertise she had cultivated and applied her love of brand building to form PDC. Sam began the business in a virtual agency model, sitting inside a makeshift office in her garage that was recognizable to the outside world by a robustly colored purple door – Behr’s Plum Swirl – now a proven harbinger of the company’s success. Today, PDC boasts both communications + social program offerings as well as an event execution division: Purple Door Productions (PDP).
